Often players struggle to play shots from downhill lies due to a lack of knowledge on how to play these shots. Downhill lies in golf are defined by the ground under your lead foot is lower than the ground under your trail foot.
There are few key differences between playing from an downhill lie versus a flat lie and if you are not aware of how the club and ball will react from this stance, then you will not know the adjustments you need to make in order to have success. Too often I see players making big changes to their set up and then swinging out of balance, all of which gives you little chance of success.
In this video I explain how the club and ball will react to the downhill lie and the adjustments you should make to ensure you can consistently hit the ball to your intended target. They are fairly simple but critically important if you want to hit solid shots.
