There is a lot of confusion among players about how the club should rest on the ground at address, or golf club lie angle and then how it should cut through the turf at impact. Many players believe the club should contact the ground in the same way at both address and impact. This is simply not true.

In this video I explain the differences in the club position between address and impact and how a better understanding of lie angle can help you hit more solid golf shots. It will also be clear from this video why club fitting is so important and why you should be fitted for clubs hitting balls.
